Hi everyone! I took a short hiatus to attend to some wedding things – eek! I’m at less than two months until the big day, and feeling a bit of pressure! (Let’s just say I’ve been double dipping my Stress Away Oil!) This is my latest creation:
Not sure if we’re using them as centerpieces just yet, but it’s actually been kind of fun trying to come up with an original prototype! Planning this wedding has kept us quite busy, but it’s absolutely nothing we can’t handle, but we are both very much looking forward to the day AFTER the wedding. HAHA!
On to the business at hand! Today, we’re going to talk about the unique blend of oils contained in your Premium Starter Kit called DiGize. Whenever you have “tummy issues”, this is the oil you should reach for. This blend combines Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Lemongrass, Anise and Patchouli oils. It has a “spicy” scent to it, and I can really smell the Ginger and Peppermint.
The scent is actually very calming and I’ve found (yes, through experience) that a little bit goes a VERY long way. So when you place this in your diffuser, be sure to do so sparingly! It’s always easier to add a drop than it is to throw out too many drops and start all over. Not to mention you waste precious oils that way!
DiGize is actually good for those of us who may feel a bit “queasy” during long car rides. I haven’t tried it for air travel yet, but I would imagine it would help with travel sickness in the air too. You can also use this for stomach discomfort from overeating, bloating or viral illness. You can dilute it with a carrier oil (remember we talked about Jojoba and V6 carrier oils here in the Frankinscense blog, and rub it on your ears, wrists, neck, forehead, temples and/or your feet. (You can also pair it with Peppermint if you’re having nausea, as I did here!).
DiGize is also said to help with acid reflux, and my soon to be husband has graciously volunteered to be my “guinea pig” for this. Stay tuned for results very soon! DiGize is a very versatile oil with many uses for calming the atmosphere or calming your belly.
